🎉 What a fantastic turnout for our first practice night of the year! 🎉

Despite the weather doing its best to keep us indoors, it was great to see so many members getting out on the greens, having a roll-up and getting stuck into the new season. 🏆

A big thank you to everyone who came along and supported the night — it was a great way to kick off what we hope will be a fantastic year of bowls at the club.

And a special mention to Emma and Ann, who did a marvelous job on the steak sangas! 🥩🥪 They’ve certainly set the standard very high for practice nights moving forward! 😂👏

What a fantastic finish to our Egg & Bacon Bowls for August! 🙌

The event has been incredibly well supported by both our members and visitors, and it’s been great to see so many people enjoying a roll-up, a bite to eat and a bit of fun throughout the month.

The inaugural WEST COAST BOWLS REGION – U18 CHAMPIONSHIPS is coming to City Bowls Club Warrnambool on Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd October 2026! 🎉

We’re looking forward to welcoming the next generation of bowlers for two fantastic days of junior bowls.

• KO Finals
• 4 Bowls
• First to 11

2. U18 OPEN SINGLES
• Sections of 3
• KO Finals
• 4 Bowls
• First to 11

3. U18 OPEN PAIRS
• Sections of 4
• KO Finals
• 3 Bowls
• 2 Sets of 5 Ends
• 1 End Tie Break if required

✅ ELIGIBILITY

Players must be 13 years of age or under for the U13 event, or 18 years of age or under for the U18 events, during 2026.

• Players can only enter ONE of the singles events.
• Parents must supervise their child/children at all times.

What a weekend for WBC! Plenty of our members out on the greens, some great results and another cracking Egg & Bacon Bowls morning at the club! 🍳🥓

🌊 SEASIDE CARNIVAL

👏 Friday – Ladies Pairs
Congratulations to Barb Pulling & Spud Anderton on a fantastic 4th-place finish at City Memorial! 🙌

🏆 Saturday – Men’s Pairs
Take a bow Simon Johnson & Uncle Normy Garner, who took out the Men’s Pairs! 🏆💪 Great bowls, boys!

🥈 Sunday – Mixed Pairs
The final event of the carnival saw Casey & Ben finish runners-up. A great way to round out the weekend! 👏

A massive well done to everyone who represented WBC at the Seaside Carnival over the weekend. It was fantastic to see so many of our members getting involved and representing the club. 🟡🔵
