The Illawarra Dragon Boat Club is for anyone who wants to paddle for fun, fitness or competiton. It's a very friendly environment so why not come and try.
The Illawarra Dragon Boat is located in the Illawarra, in NSW, Australia. The area includes the Wollongong, Kiama and Shellharbour regions. We paddle on the beautiful Lake Illawarra, which is about 100km south of Sydney. Feeling energised to get out on the water at Oak Flats. Thanks to Sudu for hosting us all at your beautiful location and treating us to a yummy breakfast. Thanks to Nowra for providing boats to help accommodate Sussex Inlet, along with Sudu and Illawarra. Good competitive training and teamwork to liven us all up before regatta season starts.

Day 2 of the Regional Pink Paddle focussing on the Monster the Loch
Training, thanks Natalie and Wynette for sweeping and for our supporters for
joining us. 15.09kms in 1 hr and 57 mins with a rainy start, a rainbow and finally some sun to take us home. As you can see on map, we went around Gooseberry Island 4 times and didn’t get dizzy!
