Warrandyte Junior Cricket Program

WCC will again have a very strong Junior Program in Season 2026/27. Our Club will have multiple teams in Under 10's, Stage 1 & 2 Girls, Under 12's, Under 14's, Under 16's and Under 18's. Young cricketers (boys & girls) of all skill levels are welcome to join in and have some fun

We are an accredited Good Sports Club (Highest Level), and embrace the Cricket Australia's Safeguarding Children & Young People Policy. We have a great group of Junior Coaches and Team Managers, with plenty of experience to support and nurture young cricketers

Huge signing announcement for the Warrandyte Cricket Club!

Junior BLAST Coordinator extraordinaire, Peter Burns OAM, is going around again in 2026/27.

Peter started his BLAST career (or Milo, as it was known then) in the late 1990s when his son Dylan was first entering cricket. Now he's back again, mentoring our new crop of young cricketers, this time with his granddaughter.

A club is built on the success of its junior program, and with Pete at the helm, the future looks pretty good at WCC.

WCC BLAST Season starts on Friday, November 6th, and all children are welcome to join the fun!

As part of our commitment to Children and Young People, Warrandyte Cricket Club seeks to:​

* Provide a safe and supportive environment for Children and Young People;

* Provide support services to any Child or Young Person and their families who might be affected by any form of Prohibited Conduct including Child Abuse or Grooming.​

Warrandyte Cricket Club, in addition to the above, will also take reasonable steps to promote the cultural safety of Aboriginal Children and Children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds as well as promoting the safety of Children with a disability.

This Sunday is WJFC's annual Bleed for Bloods Day.

Visit us at the Grandstand during our home games or at Family Night to:
🩸 Pledge to donate blood through Lifeblood, and/or
☀️ Donate to Challenge, supporting kids living with cancer.

Vale Phil Treeby

Warrandyte Cricket Club extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Phil Treeby.

Phil was an integral part of the Warrandyte Football Club and the broader Warrandyte community. His contribution to local sport was immeasurable. He played a pivotal role in bringing the Football, Netball, and Cricket clubs together through the development of our shared facilities and was a founding committee member of the Warrandyte Sporting Group, later serving as its President.

Phil was also the driving force behind Run Warrandyte, quietly taking on the enormous workload required to deliver the event year after year. Through his dedication, the event became a tremendous success, generating vital funds that continue to support the four Warrandyte Sporting Group clubs and the many people who benefit from them.

Phil never sought recognition. He simply gave his time, energy, and expertise to make our community stronger. His quiet leadership, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help wherever it was needed earned him the respect and admiration of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Our heartfelt condolences are with Phil's wife, Jill, and the entire Treeby family.

Phil leaves behind a remarkable legacy that will continue to shape our clubs and our community for generations to come.
Rest in peace Phil.
