We’re very excited to officially welcome Josh Forknall to the Rockingham Hornets for the 2026/27 season! 🏏

Joining us from Loughborough Town Cricket Club, Josh is a bowling all rounder who’ll be making the trip over to WA for his first season of Australian cricket. We can’t wait to see what he brings with both bat and ball! 🔥

Congratulations to Josh Forknall on signing with Rockingham Hornets Cricket Club for the 2026/27 Peel Cricket Association campaign.

The Loughborough Town Cricket Club seam-bowling all-rounder will jet off to Western Australia for his maiden season on Australian soil, where he'll be looking to make his mark in Hornets colours.

With the ability to contribute with both bat and ball, Josh will look to play a key role for the Hornets both on and off the field throughout the summer.

To everyone involved with the Rockingham Hornets Cricket Club, formally the Hillman Cricket Club.

To every player past and present, committee members past and present, and all the sponsors and supporters the club has had over the years.

25 years ago a group of young young blokes got together and formed a Cricket Club based on the foundation of enjoying the game and simply being mates. We were told we wouldn't last 2 seasons but we couldn't have cared less what people thought, and we had a simple policy of "good people only" (although the wording was slightly different😂).

As we enter our 25th season with pre season about to begin, there will be time to reflect on our beginnings and past, but more importantly we continue on the journey and the next 25 years.

I know I speak for both Myself and Troy when I say the hours spent getting things off the ground, would not have meant as much if not for the huge number of people who have played their part over 25 years.

A fantastic achievement and with pre season just around the corner, it's time to get exited and let's make the 25th year the year of the mighty Hornets.

Join us at the Blasters Hub this season with the Rockingham Hornets, Warnbro Swans and North Baldivis Cricket Club for an exciting cricket experience! Enjoy engaging sessions focused on teamwork and skill development.

The countdown to another season at the Hornets is officially on, with preseason training kicking off in the first week of September!

A reminder that our ID Athletic Online Store is still open for pre-orders!

If you’re playing this season, you’ll need to make sure you’ve ordered your playing shirt and playing pants before the store closes.

⏰ Orders close: Thursday 20th August

Please don’t leave it until the last minute! All items are made to order, with production not starting until the store closes. Delivery is expected to be around 6 weeks after the store closes, so ordering now will help ensure your uniform arrives as close to the start of the season as possible.
