Congratulations to Sophia in grade 1 who has now graduated from Red Ball to Orange ball.
Sophia trains 2 times a week with both Gary and Zaki.
She is always a bubbly student and drags her mum to lessons each week.

Touchtennis
It’s Week 4 of the term, and my theme this week is modified racquet sports.
I always give my students exposure to Touchtennis, Poptennis, pickleball and Beachtennis.
Kids like variety of learning different games and learn new skills.
Touchtennis is the best sport which compliments normal tennis perfectly.
Footwork, racquet control, spin, stroke production, patterns of play, Consistency with rally’s and reaction.

Thanks to all the members and parents of our juniors who participated in the Sundays working bee 2 weeks ago.
I got a comment from a plumber contractor replacing clubhouse stormwater drains today saying how great all the courts look.
I said thanks so much. This means a lot.
We discussed the benefits of en-tour-cas courts verse’s synthetic and hard court surfaces with him.
I had just finished a mid morning private lessons and looked around. All ten cohorts how great they look and play.
I’m so proud of our members, the club and volunteer committee people who have best respect and pride to keep Knox a great club.

When the rain comes at Velocity Tennis, we go inside for Bootcamp fitness sessions with our squads and private lesson students.
Here we have coach Archie and Zaki adapting their lessons on the fly to provide some fun off court coaching and learnings

Ballkid Level 1 Trial is washed out this morning.
We have rescheduled the session until Next Sunday 24th May 10am

To all Serial tennis nutcase kids and parents at junior competition. Be aware.
So when you have to have 2 venue supervisors and an undercover spectator supervise one serial player kid from another club and his nutcase mother, it’s game game.

Thank you to Cr Robert Williams our local Dinsdale ward councillor who came down to the club this morning for the launch of the Winter 2026 competition season.
Robert for many years, even prior to his election win in 2024, Robert has been a great advocate for the club.
Robert attends all Our AGM’s, drops into the club, arranges coffee meet and greets and regular keeps in email/ phone communication regularly.
We really appreciate Robert and his proactive support for the club.
