Whether picking up a bat for the first time or thinking they're the next Pat Cummins, there’s a spot for all at RUBCC.

Our junior teams for this season are:

Open to all players aged 16 and below, our junior program is all about developing skills, enjoying cricket, making mates and being part of the RUBCC community.

🏏 SENIOR CAPTAINCY ANNOUNCEMENT | 2026/27 🫡

RUBCC is pleased to announce our senior captains for the upcoming season:

First XI- Matthew Whitten
With 151 club games (101 in the First XI) and more than 2,300 runs in RUBCC colours, Matt has been a consistent presence in our senior side for many seasons. After serving as First XI Vice-Captain in 2025/26, he now steps into the top job for the upcoming season. We look forward to welcoming Matt back as he finishes up his first season abroad at Perranporth CC in Cornwall, England, as preparations build into season 2026/27!

Second XI- Mark Drage
With 155 RUBCC games, more than 2,200 runs and 264 wickets, Dragey brings enormous experience and is no stranger to leadership, having previously captained both our Second XI and Third XI. One of the fiercest competitors the club has seen, Dragey also has a genuine passion for supporting our younger players, regularly helping them develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

The club would also like to thank Jeremy Wilson for his service as First XI Captain, as he steps down from the role after leading the side in 2025/26.

Congratulations to Matt and Mark — two experienced Hawks ready to lead the way in 2026/27 🦅
