The Kim Baker Ballet Academy is one of the finest and most progressive schools of dance in the hills and surrounding areas, and offers classes for: Junior/Senior classical grades including examinations if required, Specialist Courses for the talented and dedicated students, Performances, Tiny Tots from 2.5 years of age, Contemporary and Creative classes. Syllabus curriculum includes C.D.T.A and Vaganova as used by the leading ballet schools in Australia, Russia and America. Tiny Tots and Junior Ballet: Creative, fun ballet classes for Tiny Tots and Juniors, promoting imagination, rhythm, good posture, listening skills and self esteem. All classes taken by accredited, caring and entusiastic dance instructors.

Congratulations to our senior specialist students Caitlin, Chloe, Amy, Zahra and Eliza, who are representing KBBA at the National Finals of the World Ballet Crown in Sydney! 🩰✨
The girls are currently busy taking part in masterclasses and coaching sessions as they prepare for the competition later this week.

Term 3 officially begins today, Monday 20th July, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone back to the studio! 💜🩰

📅 Full-time students will commence on Tuesday 21st July.

We can’t wait to see all of our beautiful students refreshed, re-energised, and ready for another inspiring term of dance. We have so many exciting opportunities ahead, and we’re looking forward to watching each and every dancer continue to grow, learn, and achieve their goals.

We are beyond proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements by our talented specialist students at the Australasian Classical Gala 2026 competition held recently.

🌟 Amy received: 🥉 3rd Place – Junior Scholarship finals 🩰 WACBTA Scholarship to the Swan Lake Summer Intensive (January 2027) 🇺🇸 A part scholarship placement at the Washington School of Ballet Summer Intensive
🇺🇸 Acceptance to the Washington School of Ballet trainee program on 15% scholarship.

Your dedication, passion, and hard work continue to shine. Congratulations, Amy!

🌟 Laura achieved an exceptional result, receiving: 🥇 1st Place – Pre-Professional Scholarship ✈️ The Diana Vos Travel Scholarship 🇺🇸 A place at the Washington School of Ballet Summer Intensive 🇪🇸 Two weeks’ full scholarship tuition at the Nacho Duato Academy, along with a coveted place in their Trainee Program

Our KBBA full time students attended the West Australian Ballet studios to watch the WA ballet dancers in their morning class on Wednesday.
Company class was taken by rehearsal director Greg Horsman who gave a beautiful class and took the time out of his busy day to have a photo with our students and teachers Kim Baker and Ciaira O’Reilly
