Racing Sedans Australia, formally known as “Restricted Sedan Association Inc.” currently has 20 affiliated clubs that race at more than 20 tracks across NSW, ACT and South East Qld. was established in 1984, commonly known as the “RSA" The new name of “Racing Sedans Australia” was adopted in September 2016. But as before it caters for sedan class racing in New South Wales, ACT & now Queensland with other States expected to "come on board" in the future. Our Divisions cover such sedan types as
• Outlaw Sedans,
• Super Production,
• Street Stockers,
• Fender Benders,
• 4 Cylinders and
• juniors. Every year drivers compete for the right to put the " #1" on their car. The cost of racing RSA divisions is affordable to almost anyone who is interested in having a lot of fun. 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁?

Super Productions take production-based sedan racing to another level.

They’re built from recognisable passenger sedans or hard-top coupes, but compared with some of the other RSA divisions, the rules open up considerably once you get underneath the bodywork.

🔥 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠 𝗗𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧?

This is where things start getting serious.

Super Productions can run engines up to 8 𝗰𝘆𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 5.7 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 (358𝗰𝗶), with twin-rotor rotary engines also permitted. Forced induction is also allowed on eligible 4 and 6-cylinder combinations up to 4.3 litres.

Depending on the setup, competitors can also make use of:

🔹 Methanol fuel
🔹 Open engine management/computers
🔹 More freedom with engine modifications
🔹 More open suspension setups
🔹 Open tyre compounds
🔹 Beadlock wheels
🔹 Locked differentials and flexible driveline combinations

So while the outside still has to resemble a production car, there can be 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁.

🏁 𝗡𝗢𝗡-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚

Super Productions are a non-contact division and race anti-clockwise, so all that performance still comes down to racecraft, car control and getting to the chequered flag first.

Street Stockers have a pretty special connection to Newcastle speedway history, with the division originally formed at 𝐇𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 1979.

They’re production-based race cars built from eligible road cars, fitted with a full roll cage and prepared for 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Street Stockers keep that production-car feel while still giving competitors plenty of room to build, tune and race a competitive car.

You’ll see a mix of older-school 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝘀 and later-model 𝗘𝗙𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, all built within the current RSA specifications.

Street Stockers run on permitted 𝗨𝗟𝗣 𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗣 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹, with no methanol, E85, avgas or racing fuel.
