🥏🏆 Wagga Disc Golfers at the NSW Open!

All those rounds on the carefully designed Wagga course — now with 27 tees across beginner, intermediate and experienced layouts — must be paying off! 😉

A HUGE congratulations to Dean – Runner Up in MA50 and Janet – WINNER of FA50! 🎉👏

It was a tough 3 days on a seriously technical course, with OB left, right and long on most holes, plus extra OB on every golf green, pond and bunker. Very pretty with plenty of challenge, strategy and pressure!

But with perfect weather, strong camaraderie and plenty of laughs, it was a fantastic event from start to finish. 🙌

👏 Thanks to Andy, Rhys and all the volunteers for running such a successful event, and to Sefton Golf Club for the fantastic venue.

This year we combine the ever-popular Cold Snap with Aussie Disc Golf Day, as well as having a trial run of the Division 2 layout for ussie Masters (plus for those staying around perhaps a sneaky walk through the Division 1 course the next morning). All this in a single-day, 2 round event on Saturday the 19th of September

We’re giving our Social Comp a bit of an upgrade! From 23 August to 13 December 2026, our Social Comp will now be known as CLUB DAYS — with even more to play for!

You’ll still have the chance to win the weekly prize, but we’re adding a NEW SPRING CLUB DAY PRIZE! 🏆

🥏 HOW IT WILL WORK

Your best 5 Club Day results will be combined to determine our Overall Club Day Champion.

Players will earn points based on their handicap-improvement position, with the points allocation determined by the number of players competing on the day.

Your top 5 point-scoring rounds will be added together, with the player having the highest overall total crowned the 2026 Spring Club Day Champion and taking home the prize! 🏆

There are plenty of opportunities to get out and play between August and December — but remember, only your top 5 Club Day results count towards the overall spring champion.
