First Week. First Step.🥋
The first week of Term 3 brought a big milestone for Daniel—his very first kids’ jiu-jitsu class.
Like many kids trying something new, the nerves kicked in. There was uncertainty, a few butterflies, and that little voice asking, “What if I can’t do it?”
But courage isn’t about not being afraid. It’s about taking that first step despite the fear.
With the support and encouragement of loved ones, Daniel stepped onto the mats, ready to learn, grow and challenge himself. That’s where confidence begins, one class, one lesson and one small victory at a time.
Keystone JiuJitsu is about creating an environment where kids are empowered, encouraged and give the confidence to become the best version of themselves.
Here’s to many more classes, friendships and life lessons ahead.
Fear is normal. Courage is choosing to begin.

Congratulations, Murray & Mark! 👏🥋
Tonight we had the privilege of recognising two members whose hard work, consistency and commitment have earned them their next stripes. Congratulations to Murray and Mark on this well-deserved milestone.
A stripe represents far more than time on the mats. It reflects the countless rounds, the willingness to learn, the humility to keep improving, and the resilience to keep showing up.
At Keystone, progression is never an individual achievement alone. Every person who steps onto the mat plays a role in someone else’s development. We learn from one another, challenge one another, and help each other grow. Whether you’re a white belt or a black belt, everyone has something to teach and something to learn. 100% grit, 0% ego.
Integrity is at the heart of every roll. Looking after your training partners, training with honesty and respect, and helping each other improve is what builds not only better jiu-jitsu, but better people.
Congratulations again, Murray and Mark. Thank you for setting the standard through your attitude and commitment. The journey continues, and we’re proud to be on it together.

Big happy birthday to Coach Hunter — we appreciate everything you bring to the team 🥳🎂🥋
Also awesome to see some new faces stepping in and getting after it. Welcome to the Keystone Jiu Jitsu community, you’re in good company.
