WCTC August S***t Event

Beautiful weather contributed to a great day’s shooting and some fine scores at Wagga Clay Target Club’s August S***t Event last Saturday. The event was contested by 18 entrants. Open: Gil Farish (Wangaratta) 71/75. AA: David Coleman (Wagga) 69/75. A: Kelvyn Bettridge (Wagga) 1st 65/75, Robert Yeo (Wagga) 2nd 62/75. B: Brent McKee (Wagga) 1st 68/75, Garry Fairbank (Wagga) 2nd 67/75. C: Jeffrey Neve (Corowa) 1st 67/75, Mark Liersch (Wagga) 2nd 60/75). WCTC’s next s***t shoot is the David Coleman 100T Championship, which will be held on Saturday, 31 October, 2026. 11 am start.

Practice / Coaching Day Sunday 6 September

Please note there will be no DTL competition shoot on Sunday 6 September 2026 to allow members to participate in the two-day Casella Golden Wine Shoot in Griffith. However, the range will be open from 10 am to 3 pm for those members who wish to practice. DTL, Sporting and S***t layouts will be available; accredited coaches, David Coleman and Rob Yeo, will be on hand to share their expertise; and Christine and Anthony have offered to open the canteen. A mid-sized field of 23 shooters enjoyed a truly spectacular mid-winter’s day by competing in the Wagga Clay Target Club’s Members Memorial Championship last Sunday.
