Thank you to those who attended our come and Friday on Sunday, 2 August 2026! It was great to see new faces and some very familiar ones. We know that the members of the Derby team had an amazing time and we hope you did too.

What brand of skates do you love?
Cuffs but looking for derby skates that doesn't cramp my feet.

What is your go-to karaoke song?
currently my go to is Good Grief by Bastille.

Do you have a lucky number?
Lucky number isn't something i have thpught about but i would have to say my unlucky number is 3 because all my major life events come in 3s.

What is your favourite derby position?
Favourite derby spot atm is jammer cause i like going fast and getting around people without to much contact, as much as hitting people is fun.

What drew you to derby?
One of my house mates plays and dragged me to training when i first started and i found it fun to socialise and build my skills and now they cant get rid of me.

What brand of skates do you love?

I love my Riedell skates I’ve had since in began derby, I’ve tried lots of skates from impalas, inlines, and artistic skates but these are just the one for me

What is your go-to karaoke song?

My top pick in karaoke is careless whisper it always a good icebreaker for me and never lets me down.

What is the best concert you’ve ever been to?

I have yet to go to a concert since i haven’t had a chance yet and i struggle with lots of noise and lights but if i was older i would’ve loved to have gone to a Queen concert when they were still around or if not The Cure

Do you have a lucky number?

What is your favourite derby position?

I like being a jammer the most, i like outmanoeuvring people and racing around the track and its something i can do

What drew you to derby?

When i was 7ish i saw my first roller derby game in the states, it was completely different to anything id ever seen so far into my life and i thought it was wicked, as i grew up i was always keeping a look out for something just like that. Luckily i found it with some of the most kindhearted strong-willed people who i happily call my family.
