2 great team selection/trials sessions for the junior mixed teams this morning. Thanks to Shane, Anu, Brett and the coaches and parents who helped out with the sessions or stayed to support their children. Thanks to Suranga Lakmal, former Sri Lankan cricket Captain who was on hand to provide support and tips to our young players. If you were not able to attend today there is another session next Saturday, 9-11 for Stage1 and 11-1 for Stage 2. Those who attended today are also invited for next week.

Girls Cricket Ignite session in full swing. 19 girls here today. So good to see the enthusiasm from girls and engagement from parents and supporters. I can see the girls developing their skills as the sessions go on. If you could do come today there’ll be another session next Saturday 9am at Wolston Park this time.

*Location* CJ. Greenfield, Freeman Rd, Richlands

*Times and age groups*
Stage 1. 9.00am - 11.am
10 yrs, 11 months and younger

Stage 2 & 3. 11.00am - 1.00pm
11 years and older

*If unsure which stage your child belongs to, please come to stage 1 trial first and coaches will assess.

Special guest - Former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain Suranga Lakmal will also be dropping in.

Bring full cricket gear if you do have it, otherwise WPC will have spare kits available for use, Water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.

Girls Cricket Ignite training session underway. So good to see so many girls here. Thanks to Andrew, Gavin, Peter, Kyle for helping out and all the parents for supporting. Looking forward to the next session next Saturday 9-11 am.

Final winter Blast session tonight. The participants got to experience the nets and the pitch it up machine. Thanks to everyone for a great 5 weeks. Thanks to Coaches Robin, Henry and Charles and all the parents for helping with the activities. Looking forward to seeing everyone continuing as members of the WPC Cricket family.
