Kent Street Cricket

Across the last 3 days our Year 7 Cricket students have been playing Indoor Cricket for their annual camp. All students represented the school with pride. We managed to finish runners up, 5th and 8th with our three teams out of the 11 teams that were there. Plenty of talent there to keep an eye on over the coming years. Well done 🏏👊

Recently we had 11 representatives at the recent Australian Indoor Cricket National Championships.

Also congratulations to Ishmeet, Piper and Clara on winning the Under 18 title 🏆

Clara and Piper have also been selected to represent Australia at the World Series in South Africa this September 🇦🇺 🇦🇺

Francesca Spinelli was named to the 14’s All Australian team but unfortunately don’t travel to the World Series.

On the last day of term we held our annual Pink Stumps Day game to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. It was great to see so many students and staff don the pink. We had a great game with the students unfortunately coming up short against the staff team which included some special guests and former students (special thanks to Jordan Quiggin and Keaton Critchell for coming down for the day).

Also thanks to our wonderful SPOCK parents who ran the BBQ stall on the day. Thanks to all our parents who helped or donated to make it such a memorable event.

We are pleased to say that we raised over 5k with the final amount being $5286. Which we believe is our highest amount. Thank you to all those who donated.
