An incredible season and an incredible group to celebrate.
Our Championship Women have done the Suns proud, putting together a fantastic year of basketball and earning their place on the Grand Final stage.
From the players on court to the coaches and support crew behind them, this season has been a true team effort and one we are incredibly proud of.
To finish the year as 2026 Championship Women Runners Up is a huge achievement.

A season to be incredibly proud of!
Our Division 2 Men gave us so much to celebrate this year, fighting their way through another brilliant season and earning their place on the Grand Final stage.
The commitment, fight and determination they showed all season made our club incredibly proud.
And just as special was seeing the Suns community get behind them every step of the way. From packed stands to plenty of noise, the support for this team was something pretty special.
Congratulations to our players, coaches and everyone involved on a fantastic 2026 season.

Friday night VJBL was massive. 4 games, 4 wins in round 2 of finals.
Some shining suns for the round:
☀️U12.1 Girls, U14.1 Boys and U16.3 Boys all won their qualifying finals and are set to play in their division grand finals.
☀️U16.2 Boys get the nail biter win over McKinnon to keep their season alive.
☀️Darcy (U16.3 Boys) dropped a whopping 26 points on the night.
☀️Toby and Dylan (U14.1 Boys) combine for 36 points scoring 19 and 17 respectively.

Not the result our Championship Women were hoping for today, with McKinnon taking the win in the Grand Final.
A tough way to finish, but nothing can take away from the fight, heart and effort this group has shown to get themselves onto the biggest stage.
Congratulations to McKinnon on the win.
