Meet Next Gen athlete Asha Manning.

At 17, Asha is focused on long-term development, building toward a 300kg total while continuing to grow stronger both physically and mentally.

While falling in love with the sport itself and the community it creates, Asha has found that powerlifting has helped to shape the person she is becoming.

Asha has already found her footing on the platform, with bench press standing out as her favourite lift.

As part of the Next Gen program, Asha will be supported by Ishbel as she works toward her goals.

Keep an eye out for Asha - big things in store for this young athlete!
