St John’s Tecoma Cricket Club are actively recruiting female players to step up to the crease and be part of our vibrant, growing community. Whether you have years of cricket experience under your belt or are playing for the very first time, players of all abilities are genuinely welcomed with open
arms.

Our club boasts incredibly strong roots in women's cricket, holding the proud title of the longest-lasting female program in the area since its inception in 1980. That rich history is matched by current success, as we are the reigning FTGDCA champions. You’ll be joining a proven, high-energy environment built on team spirit and plenty of fun for all.

Lastly, the female program will be led by captain Elaine Kos and coach Ian Harley, both are major St Johns Tecoma club legends and both hold a deep commitment to the advancement of female cricket. Under their guidance, players receive exceptional mentorship, encouragement, and support both on and off the field.

St Johns Tecoma Cricket Club is thrilled to announce Kyle Grenda as the Men’s Club Captain for the 2026/27 season.

Another St Johns Tecoma person through and through, the Grenda name runs strong down at Talaskia. Kyle took over the captaincy at the start of last season with quite a challenge at hand, but he and the boys exceeded everyone's expectations by reaching a preliminary final with an incredibly young squad after being written off by all. Kyle and the squad look to build on this achievement in 2026/27.

A 1st XI stalwart for many years, Kyle’s experience and camaraderie are huge factors in the leadership he brings to the club. Over recent years, he has been instrumental in junior development, and last season saw four St Johns Tecoma juniors become regulars in the First XI.

Kyle is a massive factor in the exciting growth of our young core down at Talaskia, and we are thoroughly excited to see what he can bring in 2026/27.

Elaine Kos Named Women’s Club Captain for 2026/27

St Johns Tecoma Cricket Club is thrilled to announce Elaine Kos as the Women’s Club Captain for the 2026/27 season!

A St John's Tecoma person through and through, Elaine’s connection to the club and dedication to the women's program run deep. Last year she captained the team to premiership glory in style by winning every game throughout the season, her proven leadership and inclusivity make her a true leader and role model for all around Talaskia.

Elaine is a massive reason why the club's women's program is one of the premier programs in FTGDCA and we can’t wait to see what will happen in season 2026/27.
