"Our students kicked off their civic leadership journey yesterday at the opening meeting of the 2026 Gold Coast Junior Council 👏
Livia, Sienna, Alice and Holly were warmly welcomed to the Junior Council and presented with badges on the day.
They heard from inspiring speakers from the Gold Coast City Council, including the Acting CEO, met fellow young leaders from across the city, and celebrated the announcement of the 2026 Junior Mayor and Executive.
We’re excited to see where this year of leadership, service, and community involvement takes them! "

Our Early Learning Centre recently celebrated Chinese New Year with the valued support of our Chinese families. Sharing and embedding family cultures within our programme strengthens children’s sense of identity, belonging, and connection to the world around them.
Through hands-on experiences, cultural activities, and shared traditions, the children were able to learn about and appreciate the significance of this special celebration. We are so grateful to our families for helping us create meaningful learning experiences and for enriching our educational programme through the sharing of culture, knowledge, and tradition

This holiday season is giving 5-, 10- or 20-year reunion vibes 🎶💙
If you last graced the IGC in 2005, 2015 or 2020, it’s time to come on back. We’re rolling out the welcome mat for some long-overdue catchups in January 2026, with reunions happening on 23 January (5-year) and 24 January (10- and 20-year).
We’ll take care of the food and drinks. You just need to bring yourselves… plus any significant others you’ve met or made since your last days on campus. We also encourage our 20-year reunion picnic day crew to bring the whole family; kids are more than welcome to join the fun too 🍼
📅 Full details and registration links are below. Don’t forget to let us know you’re coming!

Pommel-ing His Way to the Podium!
We are thrilled to share that Josef N, Year 10, recently represented Australia in an International Gymnastics Competition held in Europe (the Austria Future Cup to be exact!) where he truly soared.
As part of the national team, Josef helped secure a 3rd place team finish for Australia.
On an individual level, Josef achieved:
🥈 2nd place – Pommel Horse
🥈 2nd place – Rings
🥉 3rd place – Parallel Bars
What a truly amazing effort and result!
Next stop for Josef? The Czech Republic for another competition!
We can’t wait to see him continue to flip, twist, and stick the landing on the international stage! 🌏✨
