How did she do it???? listened to everything I told her to do. Instead of eating less she ate more. Instead of training more she trained less. The changes she made has now set her on the path to success. Post challenge we have set new goals as she continues to learn about nutrition and training. So damn proud of you girl!! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

Don't be fooled by the labelling on food products as "less sugar, or low fat" These terms are only put on to entice the buyer to think they are getting a healthier option. I use the above as a clear example per 100g
The regular chocolate macros are: P- 7.6 C- 57.3 F- 30.4
The "less sugar" chocolate macros are: P-11.5 C- 42.8 F- 37.1
So while it does have LESS sugar in it, it's fat levels are significantly higher. So next time you see advertisement like this just be very mindful and compare the pair π

Goals always seem so easy to make, but why is it that people sometimes struggle to achieve them? It's not about sabotaging them, or external factors getting in the way! It's about the type of goals they make. Goals aren't as simple as they seem, especially when it comes to losing weight. When setting a goal ask yourself this question: Can you control the outcome of your goal???
If you set a specific number on the scale you want to lose or a % of body fat you want to drop, this is something you can't control. So instead of setting these type of goals, start your week setting controllable goals such as:
I will go to the gym x3 this week
I will hit my macro target everyday
I will do x3 weight sessions and x2 classes this week
I will take away screens 30mins before bedtime to improve sleep
Try setting some of these goals, and see what a difference it will make!!

ABDOMINAL MUSCLES!!!
A common area that people want to lose fat from is around the abdominal area. There is a lot of different advice out there as to how to lose it from that area and whether or not it's worth doing abdominal workouts or not.
The abdominal area is still muscle so why would you not train that area. Like other muscles, it doesn't need to be trained everyday but a simple little workout at the end of a couple of weight sessions would be enough. Remember too that you use your abdominal muscles for nearly everything you do. Sitting, standing, walking, running and weight training, so it's important to have a strong core area. Doing some simple abdominal exercises in combination with a good nutrition plan will help you lose that stubborn belly fat!!

ππFRUITππ
Fruit is often people get scared about when you introduce it into a meal plan. One of the biggest myths I hear is that "fruit is full of sugar and bad for you!" Yes fruit does contain sugar but used correctly it can be beneficial for not only fat loss but stamina too! So what fruits do what? Well here's a quick run down
FAT LOSS FRUITS:
Strawberries, Apples, Grapefruit, Oranges, Watermelon, Guava, Lime, Lemon, Pears.
STAMINA FRUITS:
Banana, Apple, Berries, Oranges, Pomegranate, Red grapes, Avocado
SOOOOO........ Plenty of choice if you do enjoy your fruit. If you've been afraid to incorporate it into your daily calorie planning, don't be!! Add it in a smoothie, have it on it's own. The choice is yours!!

Happy MONDAY!!
These are some of my favourite sayings, because this is what we all need to focus on rather then just on numbers. The number game easily can mess with your head if you're not careful, so if you are not getting the numbers you want on the scale. Take a step back and just focus on enjoying life and follow these simple steps. I guarantee you will feel better mentally!!!
