This Saturday we congratulate and celebrate Lukman Larwood as he reaches 100 Senior Games for the Unley Mercedes Jets. Commencing his UMJ career in 2020 after being an Unley Jets Junior, Lukman has gone on to become a pivotal component of the Reserves defence, known for his strong spoiling ability in 1v1 contests, foiling the oppositionās attacks. These strong performances saw him earn an A Grade debut in 2024.
Lukman has developed into a strong on and off field leader in a youthful Reserves side, commanding the back line both through his words and on-field actions. We congratulate Lukman on reaching his 100-game milestone and look forward to his next 100 at the Jets!

Hi Jets People,
The council has directed us to not use Jet Park (Kingswood Reserve Oval) for training or games until the 4th, thatās this Saturday.
We understand this is frustrating, but the decision has been made to protect the ground from further damage and allow it to be presented as safe and playable for the remainder of the season.
Please contact your relevant team manager or coordinator for further information on changes to venues and times.

ROUND 8 RESULTS
The C Grade led at half time in very slippery conditions before Brighton ran away in the last quarter despite us hanging in there against their late surge.
The Bās, down by 28 points in the last quarter, fought hard all day and stormed home with 5 unanswered goals in 10 minutes to hit the front in the dying minutes, before Brighton booted a couple of late ones to sn**ch back the lead. A great game of wet weather footy between both sides.
The A Grade had a dominate display, getting out to a 4 goal lead at quarter time and keeping the foot on the gas all day, thanks to 4 majors from one of our young favourites in Lachie Fox, who was ably accompanied by 2 each from De Tullio and Bald.

Hi Jets People,
Weāve had a lot of rain and weāre expecting a fair bit more. Our home ground is pretty chopped up.
Because of this; The council has directed us to not use Jet Park (Kingswood Reserve Oval) for training or games from now until Friday. That means at this stage we can recommence use of the oval on Saturday.
Weāre not alone with this direction. It has been issued to all sporting clubs in the council area. The main aim is to protect grounds from further damage and allow them to be presented as safe and playable for the remainder of the season.
Please contact your relevant team manager or coordinator for further information on changes to venues and times.
Stay dry, andā¦ā¦ā¦ Go Jets
