Calling all Sturt members, families and friends — it's time to roll up our sleeves and get the club looking its absolute best before the season kicks off!

We'll be sprucing up the clubrooms, garden and more — a bit of weeding, tidying and general club TLC. Bring your gardening gloves and any tools you've got handy, and we'll bring the good vibes.

Whether you've got the whole morning to spare or just an hour to give, every pair of hands makes a difference. It's also the perfect excuse to catch up with fellow members before the season starts.

Spring is just around the corner and so is the summer tennis season - registrations now open for summer teams!

Unlock Your Potential on and off the Court!

We’re more than a tennis club, we’re a vibrant community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for tennis and living life to the fullest!

From beginners to pros, our courts are open for social hitting, competition tennis, coaching, and court hire.

Embrace new experiences, challenge yourself, and connect with others who share your enthusiasm.

Thursdays are for ladies who lunch (and serve aces), Saturdays are for everyone, and Wednesdays and Thursdays are for night owls.

Plus, solo sessions are always an option.

Monday 20 July 2026 at 7.30pm in the clubhouse, followed by various tastings. Heaters on, so come along and stay warm while we talk club business!

The current committee is small and relies on co-opting members to help out across a range of tasks.

What skills could you bring to the club?

Is there a role you could take on?

We're currently looking for volunteers to help with:

Communications — newsletters, member updates, flyers, posters, WhatsApp messages and social media

Social events — a hand running things as they come up

Thursday Women's Representative — attending 4 meetings a year on Sturt's behalf

This recognition reflects the dedication, passion and hard work of our members, volunteers, coaches, committee and wider tennis community who help make our club such a special place.

Being named a finalist acknowledges the positive impact our club continues to have on tennis in South Australia and the welcoming environment we provide for players of all ages and abilities.
