15 amazing mums, countless rogue toddlers and one instructor who completely butchered the choreos todayβ¦ ππ»ββοΈ π
What a morning! We had our biggest Kangatraining class ever, with FIFTEEN incredible mums coming together to dance, move and share plenty of laughs.
Now, were the dance steps perfect? Absolutely not π But that's the beauty of Kanga.
Kangatraining isn't about getting every move right or looking like a professional dancer. It's about moving our bodies safely after birth, getting our hearts pumping, wearing our babies close and having FUN along the way.
And today we definitely nailed the fun part!
I love that our classes are a place where mums can show up exactly as they are, toddlers can do their own thing, and we can all laugh together when life (or the instructor!) doesn't quite go to plan.
I canβt believe we only have 2 classes left before the end of term π± If you havenβt booked your place yet then I suggest you jump on it. We are down to just 2 places left!

10 reasons why Mums love Kangatraining π
1. Kangatraining is specifically designed to offer low impact interval training for a safe Postnatal workout.
2. All instructors are trained by midwifes, healthcare professionals and babywearing consultants.
3. Kangatraining is suitable for ALL fitness levels.
4. As you gain your strength whilst in recovery, bub will get bigger meaning you grow stronger.
5. You and your baby have FUN whilst working out together and don't have to worry about babysitters. Older siblings are always welcome to come along.
6. Babywearing gives you the chance to keep your baby close and being able to bond whilst doing something for you.
7. Kangatraining is a family safe environment and you get to meet other local mums.
8. Everyone is welcome to come and try Kangatraining;
Mums, Dads, Aunties, Grandmas, Carers.
9. If you've had a rough night, bub is unsettled or you have no energy and feeling unmotivated... Kanga is the BEST remedy!
10. You will always leave Kangatraining with a smile and feeling great.
So what are you waiting for? Grab one of our last term places or even a 3 class trial pass if you'd like to experience the magic of Kanga before committing ππ»

You & your baby's health & safety is always my top priority & with so many germs around, I wanted to outline how we can keep Embraced Beginnings safe for everyone;
π¦ If you or your baby are feeling unwell, please stay home & rest.
We can easily reschedule a Babywearing consultation if needed. If you have purchased a Kangatraining term pass, you have the ability to attend any of our other classes once you're feeling better at no extra cost.
π¦ Worried about keeping your little one healthy during Kangatraining? Our outdoor KangaMix class or Stroll & Sip Group is a great alternative. Think fresh air, sunshine & your little one can stay in the pram or carrier the whole time.
π¦ If you or your baby have compromised immune systems, please let me know in advance so I can adjust things as needed.
π¦ If you do come down with something contagious please keep me up to date so I can alert other families to be aware.
π¦ Do you or your baby have allergies?
Please let me know so I can communicate to all families attending sessions to avoid bringing along any snacks that may put you or your baby at risk.
So how am I minimising the spread of germs in class?
ππ» All mats are wiped down after every use with disinfectant wipes.
ππ» Our Keeping Mum mats & cushions are vacuumed, steam cleaned & sprayed with disinfectant after every session.
ππ» Communal toys are also cleaned & disinfected thoroughly after use.
ππ» If you're borrowing a baby carrier during Kangatraining or a Babywearing Consultation, these will be freshly washed before use. In the event that a carrier has been fitted to someone else previously that day, this will be communicated to you so you can decide if you are comfortable with this. If you wish to, you can test carriers out with my demo doll instead.
ππ» Hand sanitiser is always available as needed.
When you keep me up to date with you & your babies health needs, I can ensure the rest of our community is also on board. As a village we can work together to keep everyone safe.
If you ever have any questions or concerns about cleaning routines, our illness policy or safety guidelines, please reach out!

What a beautiful group we had at Monday Kangatraining today π
After a week's break thanks to the public holiday, we definitely had to work a little harder to get those bodies moving again! π
But between the dance moves, the laughs and the chats, we quickly found our groove.
Motherhood can be exhausting. Some days we run on coffee and cuddles, and that's okay. I've always found that busting out some dance moves and connecting with other mums has a wonderful way of lifting my mood and filling my cup.
That's the magic of Kangatraining. It's not just about exercise, it's about finding your people, sharing the highs and lows of motherhood and remembering that you don't have to do it alone.
And if you've been thinking about joining us, we'd love to welcome you! β¨
There are still a few places remaining for Term 3, so come and dance, laugh, sweat and connect with an incredible community of local mums and babies.
Because motherhood is easier when you have a village π

βSleep when the baby sleepsβ ππ»
Not always a helpful suggestion when youβre in the thick of things! You still need to cook dinner, put the washing on, have a shower, things that usually are done faster while the baby is fast asleep π©
What it really means though, is to take advantage of those small quiet moments and try to prioritise yourself just as much as you prioritise those other things too.
Itβs a reminder that you also matter and sometimes we need to let the washing sit for a little longer or pull out a freezer meal and just take a moment to lay down and get some well deserved rest π΄
Easier said than done though!
