A two-second improvement, an Open Class win and second outright capped off a strong weekend at Winton.

Darren laid down a 1:20.447, briefly moving into the outright lead on Sunday morning. We really enjoyed the battle with Pulse Racing in Pro Class. They responded moments later to reclaim the top spot and ultimately secure the outright win. Congratulations to the team on a well-earned result.

Darren Bishop’s Mitsubishi Evo has dominated the GCG Open Class at the 2025 Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge, running 1:26.819 on Day One to lead Josh Muggleton’s Evo. Muggleton pushed hard to finish the event second in class with a solid 1:28.023 in the Superlap Shootout.

John Boston put down plenty of laps in JETS14, finding a groove on Day Two which saw him knock out a 1:31, then a 1:30.781 to land himself in the Supercheap Auto Superlap Shootout on Saturday evening. Long-time WTAC entrant Benny Tran parked his BYP Integra within striking distance of a podium, with a 1:30.586 in the Superlap Shootout, putting all the pressure on Boston to pull a rabbit out of the hat.

Blasting an absolute heater in the Nissan 200SX to finish third in class with a 1:30.523, pipping Benny Tran off the podium. In the end nobody could catch Darren Bishop in the GT Evolution Mitsubishi as his 1:26.
