Heartbreak at the final whistle today, but endless pride for our incredible Under 15s Girls! 💔🌟

While the Grand Final result didn’t go our way today, every single girl left standard-setting heart, grit, and determination out on the field. You fought until the very last second, supported each other through every play, and represented our club with absolute class. We couldn't have asked for anything more—you truly gave it your all.

A massive shoutout to Marlika, who took home Best Player on the Ground for our team! Her relentless energy, skill, and work rate were outstanding from start to finish. A well-deserved honor for a phenomenal performance! 👏🔥

Heads up high, girls. One game doesn't define the incredible journey, growth, and bond you’ve built all season long. A huge thank you to our coaches, team managers, parents, and supporters who cheered from the sidelines today and every weekend.

It is with profound sadness that we must announce to members and the Springwood AFC community the passing of much loved life member Stewart Stinton.

Stewy served our club for over 25 years in numerous roles including as Junior Chairman for many years. Most recently he was our senior time keeper and despite illness continued in the role until the middle of this year.

Our Senior Clubman of the Year award is named after him, an indication of the esteem in which he is held. Stewy is pictured here (far right) celebrating our 2021 premiership with 3 fellow life members.

Our thoughts are with Louise and the rest of the Stinton family at this time.

Now at peace Stewy, never forgotten. 💛💙

🏉 SENIORS PROGRESS TO PRELIM FINAL 🏉

👏 Congratulations to our Seniors who progress to a Preliminary Final at UQ next week after taking down Caloundra in an absolute classic that went right down to the wire!

😔 Unfortunately, our Reserves season came to an end today, going down to an impressive Mayne outfit. Well done to make it this far lads - we'll get them next year!

🏉 ELIMINATION FINAL 🏉

The boys are heading up the highway tomorrow to compete in two do-or-die Elimination Finals at Caloundra.

First up, the Reserves will face Mayne at 11:45. Then, the Seniors take on Caloundra at 2PM.

Calling the Puma Army to to join us on the road and cheer on our lads as they battle hard to continue their journey. 💙💛

Our u15 Girls are off to a Grand Final after defeating Greater Springfield in a nail biter this afternoon!

The whole club is right behind you - so proud of you Pumas!

Both sides will travel to Caloundra next week to face Caloundra (Seniors) and Mayne (Reserves) in an Elimination Final. 🛻
