Consolation matches are running as usual—there's nothing riding on these games, so just have fun.

Rules for Bronze & Gold Finals:

Format: Untimed, best-of-3 sets, 10 minute warm up.
Tie-breaker: If a 3rd set is needed, it's first to 15 points (must win by 2).

Start Time: Matches start at the scheduled time, or 10 mins after the previous match finishes.

Team Lists: NO 'fill-in' players or listed players who haven't played all season. Teams violating this will forfeit.

Our PLV squads return for Round 10 as the regular season gives way to the next stage of competition, with plenty still to play for 💪

In SVL, our Division 1 Men also move into the playoff stage of the season, while our Division 2 Men’s & Women’s teams continue their regular season with Round 6.

🏐 AGM (8:00 PM):
A quick reminder that our Annual General Meeting is happening Tuesday at 8:00 PM.
• Anyone who is in the stadium at this time will be attending the AGM.
• Because of the meeting, the two later game time slots will be pushed back by 15 minutes.

🏐 Representative Results – Week 8

Tough day at the office in PLV this week, with Westside x Sydney United putting on a strong showing across all divisions.

The highlight of the round came from our Men’s U19 Elite side, who fought their way back to finish tied at 2 sets all at the end of the allocated match time. With the result decided on points countback, the boys went down by just 3 points.

In SVL, our Division 2 Women secured their first win of the season, defeating Hi Five Volleyball 3-0 in a fantastic performance.

🏐 Registrations Open: IVA 2026 Winter Social Comp!

Tuesday night volleyball is back for another season! Join us for 10 weeks of round-robin action starting June 16.

📅 When: Tuesday nights, 7pm - 10pm
📍 Where: Illawarra Hockey Centre, Unanderra
👥 Who: All ages, mixed genders (min. 2 women/gender diverse players per team)
💰 Cost: $550 per team

New to Social Comp or looking for a team? Join us for our Open House nights on June 2 & 9 from 7pm-9pm for casual volleyball, meet other players, and get ready for the season ahead.

⚠️ Deadline: Entries close Friday, June 12 @ 7pm or when the premitted number of team registrations is reached
⚠️ Membership: Minimum recreational membership required.
