This week we prepare for our Mid Year Show that is this Sunday! And… it’s time to start our CONCERT DANCES!!!

Our dance exams & assessments have been going brilliantly so far! Well done to the teens & advanced classes who sat their exams and assessments for modern, jazz/hip hop, tap & ballet on Saturday. Congratulations to the primary & intermediate classes who sat their exams and assessments for modern, jazz/hip hop, tap and ballet yesterday. And GOOD LUCK to the primary classes who have their dance assessments this afternoon! We know you’ll be amazing!

Last night many of our dedicated Teen and Advanced Modern Dancers went on an excursion to watch the Opening Night of Sydney Dance Company’s “Engine” at The Art House - we were privileged to witness the triple bill of incredible contemporary works including an Australian Premiere and a World Premiere! We even got to meet the company dancers, choreographers and director after the show AND some of our lucky dancers even attended company choreography workshops earlier in the week, too, which were amazing! It was a very inspiring experience and we are so keen to do our modern exams this coming weekend now!!!

Congratulations to the DM Dancers who represented us at DanceLife Unite Regionals last weekend. We are incredibly proud of you all - your behaviour backstage and your performances on stage were amazing. Well done on some excellent results too! Shoutout to special award Workshop Winners & Championship Place Winners Jackson, Abbi, Liz, Mia & Rachel. And extra congrats to the DM Teacher Choice Awards - Senior Anna & Junior Ava. Next stop = Nationals!!
