💙Recently our Learn to Swim students had a splash of fun while building life-saving skills during Life Jacket Safety Week!

They got hands-on experience wearing life jackets and learned why they’re so important for staying safe in and around the water.
Here’s what they practised:
💦 Entering and exiting the water safely
💦 Floating with the support of a life jacket
💦Moving through the water with confidence
💦Using the “help position” to conserve energy and stay afloat and much more
We also talked about where life jackets matter most — on boats, near rivers, rock fishing spots, and in emergencies.

It was fantastic to see so much confidence, curiosity and smiles in the water. Great work everyone 👏
