After an incredible 47 years and 8 months of continuous service, Rod ‘Rocket’ Armstrong is finishing up after an outstanding contribution to Bomaderry & Berry Bowling Clubs.

Rocket has been an integral part of our clubs for nearly five decades, leading our Bowling Greens & Grounds Team and leaving behind a remarkable legacy.

🎳 SOCIAL BOWLS WITH ROCKET – FROM 1PM
Rocket will also be participating in Social Bowls at Bomaderry from 1pm on the day. If you’d like to have a game and join Rocket on the green, please contact Mick at the club to have your name put down.

The 2026 Women's Country Carnival is at the pointy end, with the grand final of the Fours still to play! Over 200 women have come to CluBarham and surrounding Northern District clubs for four days of bowls across both Pairs and Fours, with all finals played at cluBarham. The Pairs were concluded on Tuesday (winner announcement coming soon) and the Fours will wrap up later today.
