Black Belt Martial Arts Mingara is a family and fitness friendly school located within the Mingara Leisure Centre. We cater for people of any age form our highly successful Lil Dragons program for 2 - 7 year olds to our all ages karate program or our Cardio Kickboxing program ideal for anybody wanting to get fit fast and learn self defence. Students travel from as far as Bateau Bay, Berkeley Vale, Chittaway Bay, The Entrance, Mardi, Tuggerawong, Wyong, Dora Creek and Tuggerah to attend these classes. Our instructors are Silver NCAS coaches accredited by the Australian Sports Commission and Senior First Aid officers, NSW State Team Members and State champions and members of the Australian karate team. Sensei Pauline and Sensei Adrian are the owners and head instructors of BBMA Mingara. Sensei Pauline is a Fourth Dan Black Belt in Shotokan karate, kickboxing, Third Dan in Matayoshi kobudo (traditional weapons) and Second Dan in Escrima (The Philippine Fighting stick) and Sensei Adrian is a Fourth Dan Black Belt in Shotokan karate and Matayoshi Kobudo, a Third Dan Black Belt in kickboxing Second Dan in Escrima (The Philippine Fighting stick). Our school philosophy is to bring out the best in everyone form the instructors to all of the students through a caring, professional and communicative environment. We have Lil Dragons classes for 2 - 7 year olds focusing on discipline, self defence, anti bullying and fun! Our Karate program for 8 years to adult develops essential life skills and self defence from white to Black Belt and beyond.
