Big news for Tully, Jonty Ivey the ledgendary local is fighting for his first pro debut! After an impressive four year amature career, he's been humming and harring about going pro - worried about leaving his friends and family behind. But thanks to the hard work over the years, Dean Poppi and others in the North Queensland boxing community have present local boxers with the oppotunity to go far and not have to sacrifice leaving loved ones behind. So with Spiller taking the next step in local boxing, Jonty will be fighting in pro boxing show with local and international pro fighters.
For these oppotunities for local athletes to continue to be available, the boxing community needs support from you, just by showing up to show your support for our boy Jonty, and all the other fighters fighting.
