Andrea Krelle, Julie Hanson and Carolyn Garvey travelled to Bendigo Golf Club to compete in theirJubilee bowl.

Our team missed out winning by two points. We had 100 points. Neangar Park had 101. Julie had 39 points, she won the Roger and Every tray for best score of the day.

So finally to the results for the 4BBB Stableford event run today.

Spring has well and truly sprung with another beautiful Trentham golfing day with near perfect weather and a total of 34 teams competed in the 4BBB event. Quite a few very good scores with nearly half the field, 12 teams scoring 42 & 41pts leaving the 3rd placed team languishing on 43.
But the big winners today on 44pts on a count back was Suzie Ferrari & Martin Webber with second place going to Mark Fisher & John Hudson.

Trentham Golf Club Saturday 12th September Results
Firstly there are several announcements to make.
A very big Happy Birthday to John Bell who turns 80 today. John, a very long member of the club, who has tirelessly devoted a lot of time and effort volunteering at the club. Hope you have a really great birthday and to see you around the club soon.
The AFL Grand Final Breakfast is on again. From 7:30am on the fourth Saturday of September 26th breakfast will be served before the 4 Person Ambrose event. Only $20 for one of Karen’s famous breakfasts. So get your team together, put your names on the breakfast sheet in the club and don’t forget to make your group booking on the timesheet.
Tomorrow Sunday 13th there will be a Volunteers day at the club to help clean up the fence along the 10th hole. 8:30 start and not very strenuous work just a bit of tidying up to make the club look s***k and span for the up-coming tournament. Many hands make light work and any small contribution will be gratefully accepted. A light morning tea will be served & lunch after the clean up around lunch time.
Another big event was finalised today with the playoff for the Men’s Double Knockout Matchplay. Play off players were Liam Murray & Larry Prowse versus Garry Ford & Trevor McKeon.
A hard fort match pursued with the lead fluctuating several times until the ultimate winners
Liam & Larry bursting through with a 2-1 win.
Congratulations boys on a well-deserved win.

Trentham Golf Club Results for Thursday 10th September2026
Mixed Stableford event.
We had a beautiful spring day for golf. Cool winds kept the temperature down but not the scores. The course is actually looking fantastic with the fairways and greens all in well-kept condition. Putting is still very tricky except for a couple of great scorers who didn’t seem to struggle like the rest of us.
A large contingent of players today, 76 in all cruised the lush fairways with the following results:
A Grade Winner: Liam Murray (6) 40 points with a great 2 over par 72 gross
Runner-up: Robert Rosenow (11) 35pts
B Grade Winner: Bob Penrose (17) 36pts
Runner-up: David Lee (15) 35pts
C Grade Winner: Grace Owen (35) 37pts
Runner-up: Pat Kinnell (29) 35pts

5th Liam Murray
13th Brent Leheny with an near hole-in-one
15th: Alan Snowden

The women braved the field on a cold windy spring day to play 2 Person Ambrose. Winners of the day were Sue Howard and Jenny Clarke with a 67.25. R/U were Andrea Krelle and Carolyn Garvey 72.5.

Elaine and her family wish to thank all her wonderful friends at the golf club. She had the best time yesterday.
Elaine was very overwhelmed with all the best wishes. And she loved the sign down on the back of the 7th tee with the beautiful magnolias that have been so well looked after by the wonderful garden volunteers

We began the day with another fantastic session with Torie, who shared some helpful tips and tricks for playing around the course.

The weather gods were kind to us and, although it was cool, conditions made for a very pleasant day of golf. We welcomed players from 16 clubs, all vying for the Trentham Falls Plate, which can only be won by a visiting team.
