POSTPONEMENT ADVICE
Good morning all. Last night, at a meeting of LVAirshow Committee, the decision was made to postpone The Latrobe Valley Airshow & Monster Truck event until March next year.
The health of the community, our extraordinary band of volunteers, our supporters and stakeholders, is of course, our first concern.
We have this morning advised most of our volunteers (around 80 of them) by email, and as you would understand, we also needed to let our display pilots know and speak to our major supporters and stakeholders prior to making a social media announcement. Thank you all for your understanding.
***PLEASE NOTE**** If you have already booked and paid for the event, please be assured that refunds as per our cancellation policy are being organised through Trybooking.
So, moving forward, the Airshow Committee hope your families and friends navigate safely through this difficult time and we look forward to a healthier world in the near future.

LATROBE VALLEY AIRSHOW 2020 PILOT PROFILE
Jock Folan served in the RAAF as an Airframe/Engine technician from 1975 to 1998. Aviation has been Jock's primary interest for most of his life including gliding for a number of years and 20 years of skydiving; representing Australia in the 1989 World Championships! Jock started flying GA aircraft soon after leaving the RAAF and is a keen aerobatic pilot.
When not flying in his beloved Bonanza F33C, Jock will give just about any aircraft a go, including an amphibious pusher biplane flying boat - the Super Petrel! Jock recently got to discuss this extraordinary aircraft with aviation legend, Burt Rutan.

LATROBE VALLEY AIRSHOW 2020 PILOT PROFILE!
Fascinated by all things electronic since he was a small boy, Stephen Gale learned to fly after he realised that the RAAF supersonic aircraft he worked on as an engineer were actually pretty cool, and and a lot more interesting than a just a vessel for electronics magic! Aside from avionics engineering, Stephen is an inventor, designer, consultant, occasional lecturer, and documentary creator (www.anyfoolcanfly.com). And, as will be seen at the Latrobe Valley Airshow 2020, Stephen is an experienced jet display pilot, flying regularly in formation aerobatic displays at events and airshows in the fast and furious SIAI-Marchetti S.211.
