For many learners in remote settings, there is a significant gap between their current learning level and that required for successful completion of an accredited qualification. NMC Inclusive have developed three training modules to improve learners LLN prior to commencing a White Card qualification.
Mapped to the ACSF and building on key concepts and knowledge, this training engages learners and scoffolds the development of key skills improving learner outcomes and ultimately creating employment opportunities in the construction industry.
Another successful project completed in partnership with The Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corp.

NMC had the pleasure of visiting Galiwin'ku late last year to see firsthand how Bukmak Constructions are building a local workforce and contributing to economic development in remote settings.
Today, NMC delivered a unique contextualised, nationally accredited "White Card" qualification to ensure this local workforce are suitably qualified to undertake construction employment opportunities on Elcho Island and beyond.
We are now busy developing non-accredited introductory learning modules that map directly to the ACSF and scaffold into the White Card qualification. This approach builds on learners LLN capabilities and enhances on the job training resulting in stronger outcomes for everyone.
