🔴🟡 Big morning for our Arcadian Water Safety Crew, the mighty Inflatables, today with the TOWSA Magnetic Island to Townsville Swim. Happy to be a part of this iconic community event each year, helping to keep the swimmers safe. Thank you very much to Townsville Picnic Bay Surf Lifesaving Club IRB volunteers and the NBB Ops Support RWC team for your assistance with this one, we appreciate you guys. And a massive thanks to Glencore Queensland Metals for providing essential grants to ensure we can keep our fleet of Inflatable Rescue Boats current, allowing us to provide this valuable community event support. 🔴🟡

This National Youth Volunteer Week we're recoginising the young people in our club and movement who give up their time to keep our beaches safe, mentor and train younger members, officiate and age manage at carnivals, and provide water safety for Nipper sessions, carnivals and community events. We are so lucky to have an amazing group of young Arcadians who play such an important role in our club and community. Thank you to every Arcadian Cadet & Youth member who gives our club their time, energy and commitment, we appreciate you ❤💛
