They say morning runs are the space between yesterday’s worries and today’s possibilities. We like to think they’re also the space between “Why am I awake?” and “I’m so glad I came!” 😆

This weekend is a little different for me… I’ll be heading north to the Cairns Marathon Festival! 🏃‍♀️🌴 Wish me luck!

While I’m away, a huge thank you goes to Tim for stepping up and running the show as your fearless Run Director. I know North Shore parkrun is in great hands, so please make him feel welcome (and try not to give him too much grief 😉).

My sincere apologies for the late post! 🙈

This weekend, family took out the top spot ❤️… but don’t worry, I could never forget about my other family… our amazing North Shore parkrun community!

Event #621 was another cracker of a morning, and as always, it was an absolute privilege to see so many of our regular runners, walkers, and volunteers bright and early.

A huge welcome and thank you to all of our visitors who chose North Shore parkrun this weekend—we hope you loved every step and will visit us again soon! 🌴🏃

To our first timers… congratulations on taking that first step. We hope it’s the beginning of many more Saturday mornings with us!

And while we’re talking celebrations… can we just take a moment for the PB shower we had this week?! 🎉💨
There were personal bests flying around the course like confetti! Massive congratulations to everyone who rang that PB bell—you’ve earned every second of it!

What an absolutely perfect Far North Queensland winter morning! ☀️ Crisp(ish), calm and about as close to PB weather as we get up here. The running gods certainly delivered today!

Thank you to all 85 parkrunners that helped us celebrate our 13th birthday (and Caulfield cup) today.
It certainly must have been the weather for it…there was a huge 23PBs and 12 first timers.
Welcome to our visitors from near and far! Safe travels wherever your barcode takes you.
Also I would like to thank Townsville Roadrunners for visiting us, we love having you.
A big thanks to our volunteers Kathryn, Trevor, Karen, Zsofia & Richard.
Without our volunteers, we certainly wouldn’t have been able to reach 13. Volunteers are the heart of parkrun!

A huge thank you to everyone that visited us today to celebrate not just our 13th birthday but also to celebrate our annual ‘Caulfield Cup’ that honours Bill Caulfield, our past Run Director, Super coach, amazing runner and all round nice guy.
The trophy was won (on best age grade) by William Harding with a cracking time of 17:24 and an age grading of 81.51. A huge Congratulations. Well deserved.
