The U23 Ladies return at 8:30pm after securing a draw last week and will be aiming to build on that result with another strong performance

⚽ Senior Match Day Results ⚽

A mixed bag of results for our senior sides over the weekend.

🔹 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

🟢 Division 2 Men fought hard but went down 2–4 to Burdekin.

🟡 Division 1 Men were in outstanding form, powering to a 5–2 victory over Burdekin. 👏 Congratulations to our goal scorers Mark Ross (1), Chris Reid (1), and Josh Stabler (3) on a fantastic attacking display!

🟢 Division 1 Ladies showed plenty of fight throughout the match but were ultimately defeated 3–1 by Riverway JCU.

🟡 U23 Ladies earned a hard-fought 0–0 draw against Estates.

🔹 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻

🟢It wasn't our afternoon for the U23 Men and FQPL Men, with both sides going down to Burdekin.

Congratulations to our Division 1 Men on a great win, and thank you to all our players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who were there on Friday night and Saturday afternoon backing the club.

There was plenty to celebrate across the club this weekend, highlighted by a memorable Friday night for our women’s teams, with both the Division 1 Ladies and U23 Ladies securing strong wins!

💛💚 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀
A huge congratulations to our Division 1 Ladies on their 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 win of the season, a 2–0 victory over Saints. After weeks of building, improving and sticking together, the hard work finally paid off.

Special mentions to our goal scorers:
⚽ Jessie – scoring her first-ever soccer goal! What a moment! 🎉
⚽ Gemma – confidently converting from the penalty spot.

💛💚 𝗨𝟮𝟯 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀
Another excellent performance and a well-deserved 4–1 win over MA Olympic for the U23 Ladies, who continue to build momentum this season. This group has shown real growth in recent weeks, adding another strong result to their improving form.

⚽ Isabelle, who capped off a brilliant night by finding the back of the net after also featuring in the Division 1 victory.

A great team effort!

Our men’s teams gave it everything across the weekend. While the results didn’t go our way for the Division 2 Men, FQPL Men, and U23 Men, there were still plenty of positives to take forward. Football can be a tough game, but the commitment, resilience and effort shown by our players in yellow and green never goes unnoticed. Keep working hard — the rewards will come.

A reminder that our Division 1 Men and Division 1 Youth (16–18) teams had a bye this week and will be back in action soon.
