🏁 TKC GOES GLOBAL – MACAU RECAP 🇲🇴🔥

What an absolutely unreal experience! Safe to say… it was 100% worth it.

Macau delivered everything and more — amazing people, an incredible atmosphere, and a track that was next level! The speeds were wild too… seeing these kids ripping around at over 120km/h had everyone on the edge of their seats 😳🔥 Fast flowing sections, awesome grip levels and average speeds that were seriously impressive.

Experiences like this are what driver development is all about. Different tracks, different conditions, different challenges and stepping outside the comfort zone. The amount learnt over there will add another level to these drivers' skillsets and racing IQ moving forward.

Although the end result on paper wasn't quite what we were chasing, there are still plenty of positives to take away. At different points throughout the weekend we showed genuine pace capable of mixing it inside the Top 10 in an extremely competitive field. Sometimes racing gives you the trophies, and sometimes it gives you lessons — this weekend gave us plenty of both.

I also want to give a massive shoutout to Chevy Thomson and Jax Fuller. I’m incredibly proud of the work, effort and achievements from both boys throughout the trip. Even from the start of the week to the end, I could see the progression and determination grow — not just on track, but off track as well. Watching young drivers take on new challenges, absorb information and keep digging deeper is exactly what this journey is all about 👊

A massive thank you to Brett Samuelsson / Kylie Mitchell and Darb Thomson / Julie Thomson for putting the faith and trust in me to come over and mentor and coach the boys throughout the trip. It was an awesome opportunity and one I’m incredibly grateful for.

Shoutout to Melvin and the team at LOR Racing and to MG Engines for the tips and trips over the weekend for a great engine!

Luke will be away from this Monday through until Tuesday 26th May, heading over to Macau with the boys to tackle the Inf1nity IAME Asia Series 🇲🇴🏁

While we're away chasing laps and representing TKC on the international stage, it will be business as usual back home.
