Our Kirwan High community has always stood together, and now it’s time to rally around one of our own.

Year 12 student Tom Tugai, along with his siblings, have always worn the Kirwan Bears jersey and school uniform with pride. Following a devastating injury, Tom now faces a long and challenging road to recovery. As a community, we are collaborating with Tom's junior club, Brothers RLFC, to show Tom and the Tugai family that they are not walking this journey alone.

We invite our entire school community, current students, past students, family, friends, sponsors and supporters to join us for Trot for Tom.

📅 Sunday, 9 August
📍 The Riverway
🕑 Registration: 2:00pm
🚶 Walk begins: 3:00pm
💙 $10 donation (all proceeds go directly towards Tom’s recovery)

There will also be a sausage sizzle ($2.50) and Bubbles N Froth available on the day, so bring the whole family along.

Whether you walk, donate, volunteer or simply come along to show your support, every person there will make a difference. Every step is a reminder to Tom and his family that they have an entire community behind them.

Let’s fill Riverway with red and black and show the Tugai family what being part of the Kirwan High community is all about.

Western Suburbs is thrilled to announce that six of our talented Dragons have been selected for the QLD Country squads ahead of the Buildcorp ASJRU Championships on the Sunshine Coast.

Please join us in congratulating the following players:

Selection at this level is a testament to their dedication, skill, and sportsmanship. The club wishes all our representative players the very best of luck at the national tournament.

Our U16 boys have their final game at 12pm. They are playing for 3rd place v QLD Barbarians Townsville Sports Reserve field 2! Get down to support our dragons!

Our U14 Girl Brolgas are currently in 5th place. Final game is 11am at Townsville Grammar field 2! Get there!

U13 Boys Brolgas hit the field tomorrow 8am to kick off finals day. Fighting for 5th place vs Barbarians. Lesss gooooo!

Brolgas U16 Girls have one game left. Currently sitting on 2nd place can they go back to back??
