A huge congratulations to all our Phoenix Netball representative players, coaches and supporters who recently attended the Junior State Age Carnival.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, teamwork and resilience you showed throughout the carnival. From the hard work at training to every contest on court, you represented yourselves, your teams and the Phoenix community with pride.

A special thank you to our coaches, managers, families and supporters for the countless hours, encouragement and energy you contributed along the way. Opportunities like these are made possible by an amazing team behind the team.

We hope everyone enjoyed the experience, created lifelong memories and returned home even more inspired for the season ahead.

As many of you know, Phoenix has grown tremendously over the years, and what a wonderful problem to have! With more players, more families, and more achievements to celebrate than ever before, we've decided to do things a little differently this year.

Rather than combining our Junior and Senior Presentations into one event, we'll be holding separate celebrations for each group.

Our Junior Presentation will be held at our clubhouse, giving our younger players and their families a chance to celebrate together in the place many of them call their second home.

Our Senior Presentation will be held on a separate evening at a different venue, creating an opportunity for our senior players to enjoy a night dedicated to recognising their season, achievements, and contribution to the club.

While the format may be changing, the heart of what we're celebrating remains the same, the friendships, commitment, sportsmanship, growth, and community spirit that make Phoenix such a special club.

We can't wait to celebrate another incredible season with our Phoenix family. More details about both events will be shared soon.

Behind every confident player, every hard fought win, every lesson learned, and every moment of growth is a coach who chose to invest their time, energy and heart into helping others succeed.

At Phoenix Netball Club, our coaches do so much more than teach skills and game strategies. They build confidence, create opportunities, encourage resilience, celebrate progress and help shape the incredible young people who wear our colours each week.

They are the first to arrive, the last to leave, and the constant source of support from the sidelines. Their impact reaches far beyond the netball court and leaves a lasting impression on every player they coach.

This Coaches Appreciation Week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every Phoenix coach. Your passion, commitment and belief in our players help make our club the community it is today.

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Amelia Busuttil on her selection in the 2026 Queensland Gems State Team and Olivia Marson on being named as a Training Partner for the upcoming Marie Little Shield to be held in Melbourne this September.

To earn recognition at a state level is a testament to the hard work, commitment, resilience and passion both girls bring to the court every week. Their achievements reflect not only their individual dedication but also the strength of the pathway and culture within our Phoenix family.

Amelia, your selection is a wonderful reward for the effort you've consistently put into your development, and Olivia, being named as a Training Partner is an outstanding achievement that recognises your talent and potential. We know you will both embrace this opportunity and represent North Queensland, your families and Phoenix Netball Club with pride.
