There will be no Water Polo training tonight !

𝗞𝗼𝗸𝗼𝗱𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 - 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 💦

Due to unforeseen circumstances during the transition to a new pool operator, Kokoda and Long Tan Memorial Pools are 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱.

Council is working with incoming operator City Venue Management to safely 𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆.

General admission pool multi-swim passes for Kokoda and Long Tan will be honoured until 31 July 2026.

📅 Long Tan Memorial Pool will be 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟳 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆, and the 𝟱𝟬𝗺 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟴 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆. These closures are to allow for the safe reinstallation of the swim wall into the 50m pool.

A huge congratulations to one of our senior men’s players and committee members, Euan Roberts, on his incredible performance at IRONMAN 70.3 Cairns.

Euan crossed the finish line in an impressive 5:06:55, placing 28th out of 93 competitors in the highly competitive 18–24 age group. This outstanding result is a reflection of the dedication, discipline, and hard work he puts into everything he does, both in and out of the pool.

Balancing training, competition, and his contributions to our club committee, Euan continues to lead by example and demonstrate what can be achieved through commitment and perseverance.

We are incredibly proud to have Euan representing our club and congratulate him on this fantastic achievement. We can’t wait to see what challenge he takes on next!
