Meet Josh — one of our PGA Associates, passionate about helping golfers improve their game and build confidence on the course.

Josh’s love for golf started at home, with a cut-down club and a back wall that eventually convinced Mum and Dad it was time to take him to the golf course!

We asked him a few questions to get to know the person behind the lessons 👇

Dan Ryan (Hole 3): Celebrated his first-ever ace after 40 years of golf, perfectly sticking a 152m shot with a 6 Iron.

Dei Matthews (Hole 15): Sunk a remarkable 6th career Hole-in-One during the 2 Person Ambrose Cancer Charity Day.

Justin Wright (Hole 15): Defied the odds by acing the very same hole on the exact same day alongside Dei!

While the odds of hitting a hole-in-one are slim to none, putting in the practice is the best way to beat them.

𝙂𝙉𝙌 𝙈𝙚𝙣’𝙨 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙚 𝙋𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙩 – 𝘼𝙮𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙-𝙐𝙥!

Our Townsville men headed to Ayr on the weekend for another round of GNQ Men’s Stroke Pennant, and there were some fantastic performances across the grades! 💪

🏆 A Grade Division 1
Unfortunately, our A Grade team had a tough weekend and finished 4th place. While it wasn’t the result they were hoping for, they battled hard.

🏆 B Grade Division 2
Townsville finished overall a close 2nd place by only 1 point, in the end the result was decided by a couple of putts on the last day.

🏆 C Grade Division 2
Another tight finish with Townsville coming 2nd place in a tight competition throughout the weekend.

🔥 A special shout-out to Isaac, Ty Hancock and Geoff Eales, who had an outstanding weekend, finishing undefeated with 3 wins from 3 matches! What a fantastic effort! 👏

And a massive congrats to Brian Winkel (Wink), who got a HOLE-IN-ONE! 🏆What a moment!
