First change was to move the rear sprocket closer to the left bearing, then add a third bearing right next to the sprocket.
But, as you can see, I definitely bent the axle.

When it's not raining here in the shed, it'd FKN pouring, with hail, thunder and lightning.

I dont want to believe this, but I think my new chrome molly rear axle has a slight bend as well.

An Angry Duck once told me to make everything on the mower easy and quick to access.
To add to that, weld the nuts in placed. Then you only need one spanner.
For Night Fury;
4 bolts for the seat,
3 bolts for the rear bodywork and 1 bolt for our steering setup, gives us access to replace the jackshaft, thanks to BBM Power Equipment, and improve the bearing support ,hopefully not bending another jackshaft.
Don't forget to cover any sharp edges b4 you go diving in.
