journey to Mt Everest is the trip of a life time for those who choose to embark on the challenge but often the most memorable memories are those along the way both on and off bike. This week Im enjoying acclimatising at 3800m^ in the Tagong region(home to another of Serk’s cycling adventures) with local Tibetans before joining Serk’s trip to Everest next week.

Join us for the Serk Fire Cracker Challenge Ride, a gathering for riders in Victoria to kick off the Lunar New Year festivities and Support Masaka Cycling Club.
We will meet at Pullman Melbourne on The Park, which has complimentary parking for out-of-town riders and is conveniently located opposite Jolimont Station across from the MCG.
Our route will take us to Beach Road, where we'll stop at Mount Eliza (pit stop) before returning to the starting point for a quick coffee.
