Another weekend of fantastic achievements by our female members at the Sunny Coast.
The last round of the QLD ITT series was held on Saturday. Anne Elliott took the win for the Round, locking down the B Grade series win, as well as the Age Factored Masters series winner. Well done Anne once again! Josie Hooper was 4th in Women C, and Suellen Vaughan 7th.
Both Anne and Suellen backed up Sunday to tackle the QLD Hill Climb Championship. Anne took out WM6, and Suellen won WM3.

I hope you have kept your Saturday clear for the 29.08.26! Spring is in the air and I can assure you that we are keen to go. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been staying in the pedals, hitting the gravel roads, racing, zwifitng….not riding at all or are just keen to catch up we hope to see you out at Peter Watts for our first criterium back after some time off! It should be clear skies, perfect weather and full of good times.
Criteriums may seem intimidating and often get a bad wrap but they’re a bit different out at DDCC. We’re all about safety and inclusivity, but don’t be fooled there are still plenty of heavy hitters. Come out and say hello or shoot us a message if you’re unsure. Let’s see you there!

If you are not interested in racing but are eager to get close to the action please consider volunteering.
The Sunshine Coast Cycling Club is thrilled to host the Masters and Juniors National Championships right here on the Coast — and we’d love you to be part of it!
We’re looking for volunteers to help bring this huge weekend to life. No special skills needed — we provide all instructions and equipment. Whether you can spare a couple of hours or a full day, every bit of help makes a difference.
Volunteering is a great way to support local cycling, meet new people, and be part of an exciting national‑level event.
👉 Check out the individual roles and join the crew via our website. https://www.scccracing.com/copy-of-nationals-volunteers
A massive thank‑you to everyone who can lend their time and energy to support SCCC during this incredible weekend.
