🏆 Miniroos Breakup and Presentation 🏆

One of our favourite things each year is finishing the season with our Miniroos Presentations and Colour Run. Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces when they get their trophy and medals is truly a highlight.

This year we introduced the Watkins Junior Hawk Spirit and Service Award into our club to recognise a player on each team that embodies our Hawks values of Heart, Attitude, Work, Knowledge and Support. Congratulations to all our team winners & our overall winner Matty. Matty was recognised for his genuine sportsmanship, encouragement of his teammates, his humility, leading by example and team first mentality.

We were also very proud to award Adut as our Girls Player of the Year. Adut is in our U11 Girls team but has played on our mixed teams for many years. This year she made the Darling Downs team where she served as co-captain. Her genuine love and enthusiasm for the game shines so brightly. We are so excited to see where her talent takes her.

Another victory for us is another successful colour run with no causalities on the slip and slide (thankfully!). The colour run can only be described as absolute chaos with maximum fun to be had.

As we wind down our season, on behalf of the committee we would sincerely like to once again thank all our families for making this season so enjoyable. We hope to see you all again next year for another season of fun, fair play and friendship.

What a come from behind win defeating Rockville 3-2 in the Grand Final. Amazing effort from all the players, coach Adrian & manager Pam. Thank you to Rockville for a great game and always being a tough competitor during the season.

U14/15 Tigers - Grand Final Photo Edition

This team has given us a season full of heart, determination, hardwork and fight! From the very first whistle of the season through to the final whistle of the Grand Final, they have stood together and backed each other every step of the way. What an amazing reward for Coach Matt who is in his 10th year coaching - that committment is truly extraordinary and should be celebrated.

Thank you so much for our supporters who cheered our team on. That 'Let's go Hawkies, Let's Go' chant is something that we will remember for a long time.
