What an honour it was to fly to the other side of the world and compete at invitationals

What an amazing opportunity Valkyries have had this weekend! With Valkyries first debut internationally we couldn’t ask for a better weekend. With the girls competing in 5v5 as well as 12v12 w/ 𝕴𝖗𝖔𝖓 𝖂𝖔𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖘 𝖂𝖔𝖒𝖊𝖓𝖘 𝕿𝖊𝖆𝖒 The Purple People Eaters. As well as Rachel in the longsword category.
Valkyries also got to be apart of history with the first time Romania has had a female combat tournament as well as the first Tournament to have higher female fighters than male!!!
We have learnt a lot and have a lot of knowledge and experience we can take back to Australia!
It has been a beautiful opportunity and we couldn’t ask for more, till next time Europe 🫶

Yippee!!! How exciting to see the Valkyries Kill it at Abbeystowe challenger! First Aussie 12v12 for fems!!!!! Two years ago Australia just scraped 2 teams for women’s now we are running 12v’s!!! Australia Fem Buhurt Growth is amazing!

The Valkyries Smashed it this weekend bringing home Gold in the 3’s Silver in the 5’s and Gold in the first ever Australia women 12v12’s!!! Our Fighter Izzy also came home with a gold medal for the Fems All v All!!!
Shout out to and for mercing with us in the 12v12’s.
We had two Valkyries attend their first Competition this weekend and smashed it out of the park!
Our Tyrs Warriors Boys also came home with Silver for the Men’s 12v12’s!!!!!
Another big shout out to for mercing with the men in the 12v12’s.
What a big weekend with a lot of pretty trinkets to add to the Tyrs Shelf!!!!
