Motorama Rally, September 1973, final stage on Sunday morning was at Echo Valley Hillclimb in Toowoomba. This is an unknown competitor in a Wolseley 1500 running a little wide on the exit of Fir Tree Corner. Anyone who has driven Echo Valley will know the consequences of running too wide at Fir Tree!

Echo Valley Hillclimb was often used as a stage in rallies. This was the final stage of the Motorama Rally, September 1973, a round of the Queensland Novice Rally series. These events also attracted a wide variety of cars, a Holden FB Special Station Wagon being a different choice as a rally car. Unfortunately I do not know the names of the driver or navigator.

John Evans, any info in the club's archives about this one?
Came across this interesting article in some Sports Car World magazines I recently purchased, never realised that this Toowoomba Auto Club event took place! Anyone out there have any memories or information?

Hillclimb meeting, August 1972, an Austin Healey 100-6 climbing up through Fir Tree Corner. Not sure who the driver was, but I am sure there are a few of you out there who will know.
