Winners on Friday night were St Paul’s with Drayton runner up

So proud of our two Toowoomba association members Angus Young and Errol Weir, both played for Australia in the 2026 Trans-Tasman test held in Port Sorell Tasmania in the past week, with both winning two gold medals each. Angus and Errol were selected to combine together to play with Tasmanian players Shawn Armstrong and Simon Zaporozec to win gold in Men's fours.
Angus then combined with Ian Ogilvie NSW to win gold in men's pair's and Errol combined with Kyle French ( Brisbane ) and Tasmanian Shawn Armstrong to win gold in men's triples.
The NZ team won back the overall trans tasmian trophy. Australia won 6 of the 11 available gold medals. Our two local players have done Themselves and Toowoomba Indoor Bowling Association very proud
