🥊 Hanging bag or free-standing — what's actually in your home gym?
We get asked this every week and honestly, there's no one right answer. It comes down to your setup and how you train.
Hanging bags give you that proper, heavy, dead-weight feel. Great for power shots, kicks and combos, and they swing back at you so you learn to move. Downside: you need a solid beam, a wall bracket or a stand, plus the noise and the hole-in-the-ceiling conversation with whoever you live with.
Free-standing bags win on convenience. Roll them out, train, roll them away. No drilling, no swinging into the kids' bikes. They don't quite replicate a hanging bag's feel, but for most home setups they're more than enough.
