Lockyer Enduro

It's only 44 days until the Lockyer Enduro gets underway, on the 31st October/1st November, with our new 6-hour race format!

The Supplementary Regulations and online entry for the event will be available from this Saturday 19th, via the Motorsport Australia member portal, just search "Lockyer Enduro" on the calendar. https://portal.motorsport.org.au/events/

This year's new format offers a 6-hour total race time, which will comprise of 3 sections, split over two days, with each section having a two-hour time limit, for competitors to try and complete as many laps as they can within the time limit. Whoever completes the most laps in the shortest time wins!

The event will be a State Championship event run in conjunction with a club event this year, to allow competitors a cheaper option to compete and allow younger competitors to race.

Motorsport Australia advises competitors of a rule change regarding the installation of plumbed-in fire extinguishers in off road vehicles participating in the remainder of the 2026 season, following review of the findings and recommendations made by Coroner Ingrid Giles published on 12 August 2026....

Save the the date for this years Lockyer Enduro!

Round 3 of the Motorsport Australia Queensland Off Road Championship.

There is no better way to finish off the 2026 off road racing season. This years new event format offers a total of 6 hours racing, split into three sections, over two days. The most laps fully completed by a competitor in the shortest time wins*.

Supplementary Regulations will be released in August and will offer full details of the new event format. Entries will also open at the same time, through the Motorsport Australia Member Portal.

More details to come.

*Please note there will be a minimum number of laps required to be completed in each section to be classified as a finisher. There will also be a maximum number of laps a competitor can complete in each section.

Check out the revised 2026 calendar.

The Motorsport Australia Queensland Off Road Championship has revised the 2026 calendar due to the postponement of Round 1 The Gold City 450 at Charter Towers.

The first race of the Championship will get underway with Round 2 the Zooms Cup, at Limevale in July.

Round 1, the Gold City 450 at Charters Towers, now moves to its new date in September. The championship will still finish the year off at Round 3, the Lockyer Enduro, at the end of October/November.
